Vegan?

No, I’m not vegan. After eating whey protein from 2011 through 2017 in bars, protein shakes, protein pancakes, mixed up and frozen as ‘ice cream’ - my stomach suddenly started rejecting it. Not cool tummy, not cool! My dad had recently been struggling with similar digestive problems. He suggested I cut down on my whey consumption. Not only did this help my bloat, gas, and abdominal pains but I also felt less lethargic. However, I am a busy bee and am not a big meat eater and needed a substitute for my former whey habits. I tired a few plant-based proteins but hated the taste of one and the others were distractingly chalky.

Because texture, flavor, and the ingredients matter to me, I couldn’t settle on a protein until Conner had me try his ID Life Vegan protein. First, I had it mixed into a fruit smoothie but he really sold me when I had one scoop mixed with only water and ice in a shaker cup. It was smooth, sweet, and contained superfoods like chia, flax, quinoa, and six services of fruits and vegetables?! Say whaaat? Each scoop contains: 1/3 cup broccoli, 1 1/4 cup kale, 1/2 cup asparagus, 1/2 cup cabbage, 1 1/8 cup spinach, 1/3 apple, 1/3 banana, 5 blueberries, 5 blackcurrants, and 14 elderberries. For me, the superfoods and veggies are an added bonus to the texture and taste of a protein.

While preparing for Miss Nebraska USA, Miss USA, Miss Universe, and now as just a sample in my lifestyle, ID Life Vegan Protein is my life savor. I use the to-go packs while traveling and keep an open bag in the pantry to help keep me fueled. Another plus is it’s all produced right here in the US. I hope you don’t have to struggle with icky tummy pains and digestive issues but if you think your protein may also be the issue, I hope this can help you too.
